In levelled ringfort (CO041-10601-). According to OS Field Books, Lisheenacarriga, little fort of the rock, has a cave which is said to contain three large apartments (Berry 1905, 33). Bowman (1934, 569) noted that 'a Man-made underground passage was here, but is now closed'. Area of fort and Man-made underground passage now destroyed by quarrying. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
