Roman Catholic cemetery, with marked interments from c.1935. Carved limestone and marble grave markers. Rendered gate piers surmounted by cast-iron crosses, with cast-iron spear-headed railings and double gates.
The Roman Catholic cemetery at Castletown has some very fine examples of Celtic Revival style high crosses. These are significant in terms of their artistic value. The site is bounded to the front by cast-iron gates and rendered piers, which enhance the setting.
