What is recorded here

Very little survives to indicate the single-ringed, 'Fort' marked on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map. A portion of an earthen bank and fosse may be original but the site has been built on. It was situated on good land. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.'
