Carrickbrack Double-Cist Burial

Two cists were found in a field here. There are no contents recorded from the first cist found c. 1895 (JRSAI 1896, 382). The second cist was .64m E-W × 0.48m. It had a slab floor and contained a bowl foodvessel, a flint flake, a thumb-scraper and some quartz chips (JRSAI 1958, 145).
