Cairn

Situated on the floor of the NE-SW upper Araglin river valley, at the S edge of the ravine of a NE-SW tribuatary stream at a point where it turns NW. A small heather-covered cairn (dims. 1.5m N-S; 1.3m E-W) defined by four kerbstones. It is part of a small concentrated group of monuments, and is located just E of cairn circle (WA014-033016-). A small heather-covered cairn, likely a Bronze Age funerary or ritual cairn; its isolated location suggests a possible link to early pastoral or ritual activity in the upland landscape.
