On level ground between two ridges of rock outcrop. Roughly circular area (22.4m N-S; 24.7m E-W) enclosed by low collapsed stone bank topped with modern stone wall. Some stones set radially in wall on W side. N half interior under forestry. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
