Burnt spread in Dromatouk

In peaty pasture, on a gentle S-facing slope in undulating moorland. A horizon of burnt material (L 6m; T 0.6m) just under the sod layer, is exposed in the N bank of an E-W drain. Burnt stones can be traced for c. 0.5m to the N of the drain. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
