What is recorded here

Located on a slight E-facing slope. This is a circular area of burnt stone and dark earth (diam. 7m) visible when the area is ploughed. Burnt mound (WX040-069002-) is c. 10m to the W. Burnt mound, likely dating to the Neolithic or Bronze Age. These features are commonly associated with ritual or industrial activities, such as heat-treated stone use in cooking or hide processing.
