What is recorded here
Situated between Fitzgerald Park and Mountown Road Lower. A burial was discovered in November 1968 during the digging of foundation trenches for a dwelling house. Portions of skulls and long bones were visible in the section faces (D 0.30m-0.60m). They were thought to be extended with burials overlying others. No associated artefacts were found with any of the burials (Cahill & Sikora 2011, 472).
