Kilpatrick once held a burial ground beside a church, but repeated ploughing erased the exact boundary. Men may have laid relatives beneath soil that later became ordinary farmland, turning sacred memory into forgotten earth. The loss is not mere absence of a marker; it is a living place diminished until nobody can point to it without doubt.

Bowman (1934, 62) recorded burial ground and church site (14509) in W. Bolster's though 'the site has been tilled many times'. Exact location not known.
