Dursey Island carries a quiet burial ground beside Kilmichael church, where thin upright slabs stand in roughly parallel lines. They are not tall enough to command attention, yet their repetition suggests repeated loss and repeated care. A trackway cuts through the northern end, linking death to the ordinary movement of island life. The stones may have marked families, travellers or forgotten neighbours, but their alignment still preserves the shape of mourning.

On E side of Kilmichael church (CO126-009002-) is area known locally as "burial ground". Series of thin upright slabs, (H c. 0.45m; c. 0.4m; c. 0.16m) set in roughly parallel lines.
