Natural spring rising from under large boulder, forming small pool. Bordering pool to E are number of flat stones forming platform; two are cup-marked (CO126-011001-; CO126-011003-). Well not in holy use. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
