Gortnascregga holds a buried church and graveyard inside a levelled fence, measuring thirty-nine by thirty-five yards beside an abandoned road. The earth has swallowed the stones and markers, leaving only a hidden rectangle where people once prayed and died. You can still walk the forgotten road and imagine the congregation gathering in the dark, their voices echoing through the grass before the place vanished from memory.

Bowman (1934, 150) recorded 'church site (14485) and burial ground in J. Goulding's. Surrounding fence practically levelled. The enclosed space measures 39 yards by 35 yards...About 15 yards N.E. of the site, is an old road, not used now'. Exact location not known.
