What is recorded here

Bones and skulls unearthed between Mullaghlinn and Cleggadinna - 'hill of the skulls' - in the nineteenth century. Local tradition records a battle nearby, possible mass grave. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 17 July 2007
