Union Workhouse Burial Ground in County Cork holds dead people from the local workhouse, although two low markers and grazing animals have claimed most of the narrow rectangular field. The stone wall and piered gates still mark the southern edge near Kanturk, preserving a boundary drawn for people the wider world preferred to forget.

In pasture, on N side of road, c. 4km W of Kanturk. Not shown on 1842 OS 6-inch map; shown on 1904 OS 6-inch map as rectangular field (c. 100m E-W; c. 25m N-S) and named 'Union Workhouse Burial Gd.'. Narrow rectangular burial ground enclosed on S side by stone wall with piered entrance gates. Interior uneven and used for grazing animals; only two low grave markers noted. No longer in use.
