The small bullaun stone (dims. 0.44m x 0.27m; H c. 0.2m) with a single basin (diam. 0.23m; D 0.13m) that was found when an old building immediately W of rath (WA023-009001-) was damaged is now kept at Tay Lodge, c. 300m to the SW. Compiled by: Michael Moore. Date of upload: 6th May, 2011.

Likely dating to the early medieval period, bullaun stones were often associated with Christian or pre-Christian ritual practices, possibly used for anointing or as holy water basins. Local folklore may connect such stones with saintly figures or protective charms.
