Killenora holds a possible bullaun stone, a marker of repeated prayer rather than a single grand event. It left the church site and entered Carlow Museum, shifting from local ritual to public display. The stone may have worn smooth under many hands, recording patience instead of fame.

Likely dating to the early Christian period (5th–9th centuries AD), bullaun stones were often used for the ritual preparation of holy communion, with their basins traditionally associated with saintly activity. Local folklore may link the stone to a patron saint or holy well in the area.
