Found in field fence, by roadside, subsequently removed and now in private possession. Irregular block of sandstone (0.5m x 0.45m) with circular hollow (diam. 0.35m; D 0.07m) on flat upper surface. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
