What is recorded here
Detached stone tower, built c. 1840. Rubble uncoursed limestone walling stepping out at lower stage, square profile strings at first floor and roof, stone external staircase. Single-storey lean-to outbuildings built around base. Flat roof structure not visible. Pointed-arch window openings, windows missing. Set in farmyard.
The squat cylindrical profile of this tower, whose original function has long since ceased, provides an interesting landscape feature.
