Freestanding animal boundary over stream, c.1800, comprising pair of rubble stone piers with cut-stone post. Sited spanning stream.

This animal boundary is an unusual and attractive, if subtle, feature in Castledermot and is of interest for its construction in locally-sourced rubble granite, which is a characteristic shared in common with further elements of the built fabric of the historic core of the town.
