Single-arched limestone railway bridge, built 1848, carrying road traffic over railway tracks. Elliptical-headed arch with rock-faced voussoirs, impost and parapet. Battered ashlar abutments with alternating ashlar blocks to coping. Ashlar coping and string course to parapet.

The textural interest of this bridge is provided by several different treatments of limestone - snecked ashlar, rock-faced voussoirs, and alternating coping stones. This apparently simple single-arch bridge has sophisticated coursed rusticated ashlar masonry to its soffit.
