Bridge in Ballyorgan gives the little River Keale two arches to pass through. One would have done, but this allows two ducks to approach side by side, refuse to yield and both consider the other a disgrace.
Double-arch roughly dressed sandstone road bridge over the River Keale, built c. 1800. Roughly dressed voussoirs to segmental-headed arches.
The simple form of this road bridge spans a relatively small river, this bridge is a reminder of the craftsmanship employed in such endeavours in the early nineteenth century.
