Freestanding lantern-topped lightship mast, built 1924. Installed, 2000, on quay.

The lantern-topped mast of L.S. Albatross which was built by H. Robb of Leith, Scotland, at a cost of £15,650. The lightship was decommissioned in 1969 and was for some time moored off the west pier in Dún Laoghaire where it was used by the Scout Association of Ireland as a cadet training ship. It was later towed to the Grand Canal Basin in Dublin and subsequently passed into private ownership.
