Rathgormuck, County Waterford, Ireland: A castle and bawn at Monadiha belonged to Nicholas Power in 1641, though leased to William Power. The true identity of the bawn remains uncertain, as no clear evidence links it to the tower house unless a separate structure served as a corner tower.

According to the Civil Survey of 1654-6, a castle and bawn at Monadiha, by which is meant Rathgormuck, was owned by Nicholas Power of Rathgormuck in 1641 but leased to a William Power (Simington 1942, 112). There is no evidence of a bawn attached to the tower house (WA003-039001-), unless the structure (WA003-039002-) could have been a corner tower.
