Moyry Pass in County Armagh, Ireland, was a battle site in 1600. The narrow ground may have choked armies, forced close fighting, and turned a local clash into a bloody knot of steel and breath. Men may have bled into the soil there, while witnesses carried the shape of the violence home in their memories.
