In improved pasture on a gentle W-facing slope of a low rise, overlooking wet area N-E. Circular area (dims. 6.2m N-S; 6m E-W) defined by remains of low profile fosse (basal Wth 0.7m; overall Wth 2.8m; D 0.15m). Remains of outer bank (Wth 3.1m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.05m) W-SE. Interior slopes down gently to W with prevalent slope. Interior is c. 0.12m lower than exterior ground level on the E-side as monument is cut slightly into hillslope here. Identified as a ring-ditch on an aerial photograph (OS 2396 mono). Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 26 August 2011
