What is recorded here

On top of a slight rise on the N side of the interior of an enclosure (TS065-063012-) with a ditch-barrow (TS065-063009-) 12m to the S on the S side of the enclosure. Identified on aerial photograph (Bruff 68, 5/2041). Circular area (diam. 3m) defined by a very shallow flat-bottomed fosse (overall Wth 3.5m; Wth at base 1m; D 0.25m). A possible entrance may be indicated by a slight causeway (Wth 1m) across the fosse at E. The interior, 0.2m lower than external ground level, is level and clear of overgrowth. Ditch barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its location within an enclosure suggests it may be part of a ceremonial or funerary landscape.
