Monument described in 1942-3 as following; 'This consists of a small rectangular mound which is surrounded by a fosse. The latter is gone on the north and east sides but remains on the other two. The top of the mound slopes off from the west to the east end. The maximum height over the fosse-bottom is 5' [1.5m] and it measures 103' [31m] east-west by 90' [27m]. Situated in low-land' (O'Kelly 1942-3, 239). Well preserved monument clearly visible today on Digital Globe aerial photographs. Compiled by: Caimin O'Brien Date of upload: 6 March 2020
