Single-arch road bridge over river, c.1900, possibly incorporating fabric of earlier bridge, pre-1840, on site. Unpainted rendered, ruled and lined walls with rendered triangular cut-waters, rendered stringcourse supporting parapet, and rendered coping. Single arch (profile not visible). Sited spanning Acore River with grass banks to river.

Possibly incorporating the fabric of an earlier crossing on site as indicated by archival editions of the Ordnance Survey a modest-scale bridge forming a pleasing feature spanning the Acore River represents an integral component of the late nineteenth- or early twentieth-century civil engineering legacy of County Kilkenny.
