Ballykilcavan Saw Mills

No surface remains visible. In 1641 there is a reference to a fulling mill in the area known as the Ballykilcavan Estate (Feehan 1983, 353). This mill may have been located on the site of the Ballykilcavan Saw Mills. Alternatively it is possible that the 17th century fulling mill may have been situated at a different location within the townland of Mill Land on the estate of Ballykilcavan.
