Cast-iron entrance, built c. 1860, comprising pair of octagonal-profile piers with moulded caps and finials, flanking double-leaf spear headed gates and flanked by spear headed railings set on limestone plinths. House of architectural interest to site, not accessible at time of survey.
A fine entrance which heralds the presence of a fine house within the grounds. Well-designed and executed, the entrance makes a notable addition to the roadside.
