Ringabella HouseHouse · 763 ydExplorer Tom Ringabella House is on the coast, built around 1820. It has a quirky irregular facade. The segmental-headed doorcase is neat. Looks like it’s enjoying the sea breeze and ignoring everyone else nearby!
Fountainstown HouseCountry house · 1056 ydExplorer Tom Fountainstown House has been in the Hodder family since 1699, making it a real long-term resident. It’s almost entirely intact, keeping its early character without any modern tampering.
Explorer Tom View Cork Harbour has caught my eye in County Cork. I bet a viewpoint with a name like that could keep me talking all afternoon; I'm already inventing a daft little scene for it, and I'll stop before it turns into history.
Explorer Tom Myrtleville Beach has caught my eye in County Cork. I bet a beach / strand with a name like that could keep me talking all afternoon; I'm already inventing a daft little scene for it, and I'll stop before it turns into history.
Castle (in Ruins)Castle, tower house · 2.2 miExplorer Tom Castle in Aghamarta is a three-storey tower that got hit by a storm in 1839. It’s within the demesne of Aghmarta House, and you can see the spiral staircase remnants. It’s got a round-arched door too. Look for the vault!

Grave YardGraveyard · 2.7 miExplorer Tom Graveyard in Kilpatrick has rows of low uninscribed gravemarkers that look like they're sleeping. One headstone is from 1790, so it's seen plenty of history. The land falls away steeply, so watch your step!
Curraghbinny WoodsForest · 2.9 miExplorer Tom Curraghbinny Woods has caught my eye in County Cork. I bet a forest with a name like that could keep me talking all afternoon; I'm already inventing a daft little scene for it, and I'll stop before it turns into history.

Explorer Tom Camden Fort is perched high above the harbour, guarding the entrance like a stern gatekeeper with a grudge. It was built in 1798 and has some interesting connections to James II’s battery from way back when. Take a picture for me if you can see the tunnel!
Explorer Tom Carrigaline Castle in Carrigaline East is hiding behind a lot of ivy and quarried stone. Only half the tower is really standing, but it looks mysterious. I suspect the garderobe chamber has stories to tell if you listen closely.
