Detached three-bay single-storey gable-fronted estate worker's house, c.1925, with pair of canted bay windows flanking central entrance bay to ground floor, and two-bay single-storey side elevations. Now in private residential use. Pitched (gable-fronted) artificial slate roof (hipped to canopy over entrance bay extending over canted bay windows) with clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stacks, decorative timber bargeboards, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves. Painted tongue-and-groove timber panelled walls over timber-frame construction with timber strips to corners. Square-headed window openings (including to canted bay windows) with concrete sills, and timber casement windows having two-over-two timber sash window to dormer attic. Square-headed door opening with two concrete steps, and glazed timber panelled door having overlight. Set back from road in own grounds with landscaped grounds to site.

A picturesque small-scale range surviving as the last of a self-contained development of estate worker's houses sponsored by the Wandesford (Wandesforde) family of nearby Castlecomer House (12301090/KK-05-01-90) with each unit alluding to the form and appearance of the traditional bungalow developed in India under British rule in the nineteenth century. Distinctive features including the weather boarded detailing to the wall surface, the canted bay windows, the profiled timber joinery, and so on all serve to enhance the architectural design quality of the site. Well maintained the retention of most of the original attributes contributes significantly to the character of the site.
