Detached five-bay single-storey over basement house, built c.1820. Hipped slate roof with rendered chimneystacks. Rendered walls. Square-headed openings with uPVC windows and limestone sills. Round-headed doorcase with replacement door. Outbuildings to rear. Rendered entrance sweep with cast-iron gates.
The single-storey over raised basement design of this building it typical of the villa-style house which became fashionable in the nineteenth century. Though some features have been replaced, it retains much of its historic character. The outbuildings to rear add to its setting and context, while the former mill to the south-east may also have been assoicated with the house in the past.
