Explorer Tom Glencorf Burn has lazy beds which means someone in the past was too tired to do the work properly. It’s an enclosure with a side hustle in agriculture, and frankly, I’m impressed by its multitasking skills. The name sounds like something you’d say when you’re trying not to sneeze. Take the long way round because it deserves the effort of your wandering eyes.
Explorer Tom Logan Water in Dumfries and Galloway is a prehistoric enclosure that hosted a love story which went horribly wrong right next door. Someone probably tripped over a ditch while shouting about their feelings, ending up in the mud. Best enjoyed with a bag of chips and no plans.
Explorer Tom Langholm Castle started because two lads made a bet in the pub that one could build a tower before the other finished his ale. He won, but he’s been stuck up there ever after. Pick a stone, any stone, and invent its biography.
