What is recorded here

Wattys Rock is a small circular island in Lough Sheelin, County Cavan, sitting one hundred metres from the shore. It is the kind of place where water, memory and risk meet, because a person must leave the land, cross open lake and trust the rock to hold them. That distance is not small. It is the difference between seeing and entering, and the lake keeps that difference alive.
