Cast-iron water pump, c.1870, comprising fluted base and fluted domed cap with round finial with cast-iron drainage grid attached. Currently disused.
This water pump formerly played an important social role in Kinlough as a source of fresh water. Although no longer in use, it is part of the social and urban fabric of the town, thus contributing to the local heritage.
