Cast-iron water pump, c.1870, with fluted neck, cap and spout, horizontal bands to shaft, decorative pointed finial, and curved pumping handle.
This functional water pump exhibits artistic detailing in its design, with an elegantly curved handle and fluted neck cap and spout. It is a notable feature on the roadside as it is located in the centre of a small green area beside the church, old school house and Tallons Pub. This water pump is in working order.
