Freestanding cast-iron water pump, erected c.1900, now disused. Comprising banded shaft, fluted head and bucket grip to spout, with a curved cow's tail handle terminating in ball. Set on a raised concrete platform and surrounded by painted rendered boundary walls.

Located close to Freke Terrace, this water pump would have played a significant role in the local community before the provision of mains water supply. It shows artistic detailing in the curved handle and banded shaft.
