Situated on an E-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area with nearby barrow cemetery (TN031-024/025/023) to NW. A sunken area (diam. 6.5m N-S; D 1m) with traces of a possible enclosing bank. This may be the quarried-out remains of a barrow. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
