Situated on an E-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area with nearby barrow cemetery (TN031-024/025/023) to NW. A sunken area (diam. 6.5m N-S; D 1m) with traces of a possible enclosing bank. This may be the quarried-out remains of a barrow. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
