'Tobernacreeva' are two natural springs enclosed by semicircular stone foundations. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. Tobernacreeva is associated with Saint Legh (or Legaloscran), a 7th-century Irish saint known for his ascetic life in Donegal. The site is traditionally linked to healing rituals, particularly for eye ailments, with pilgrims collecting water from the springs for spiritual and physical cure.
