Tobermurry is a holy well traditionally associated with Saint Murry (or Murtagh), a 7th-century Irish saint known for his monastic foundations in County Clare. The well was historically visited for its supposed healing properties, particularly for eye ailments and general wellness, with rituals often involving the collection of water on specific feast days.
