What is recorded here

Situated on a NE-facing slope. A small unmarked spring with no associated features. The name probably means 'well of the foreigner' or 'Englishman' (Price 1967, 488). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
