Tobereenkilgrania is a living holy well at the forest edge in County Cork, where a clochan-type structure guards a spring beneath a wooden cross. People still travel there to pray or drink, joining an unbroken line of devotion stretching back through centuries of Irish tradition. The Galtee Mountains watch from the north like silent witnesses, reminding every visitor that the earth itself remembers the shape of human longing.

Linked to Saint Gobnait, the well is traditionally associated with cures for eye ailments and general healing. The site reflects a long-standing Christian and pre-Christian tradition of sacred springs in Ireland, often marked by stone or clochan enclosures and later Christianised with crosses.
