The Three Sisters is a sea cliff composed primarily of sandstone and shale, part of the Lower Carboniferous sedimentary rock formations. These cliffs were formed around 350 million years ago through the deposition of river and marine sediments, and are notable for their striking coastal profile and potential for fossil discoveries.
