Detached fifteen-bay single-storey building, built c. 1845, originally part of Corrofin Union Workhouse. Pitched slate roof with concrete ridge tiles, limestone eaves course, cast-iron rainwater goods, cut-stone gable copings, rendered chimneystacks and red clay pots. Hipped roof to return. Roughcast rendered walls over rubble stone construction and having cut-stone plinth. Timber sliding sash windows with stone sills. Segmental-arched door openings with cut-limestone architraves, timber matchboard doors and approached by limestone steps. Some openings now blocked or altered. Other buildings in complex now demolished.
