What is recorded here

Pair of cast-iron piers and wrought-iron gates, c. 1925, leading the to site of a former saw mill, now in use as warehouse.
This entrance makes a notable and positive contribution to the streetscape. The cast-iron piers and wrought-iron gates are of artistic design and are representative of design theory in the early twentieth century in Ireland. These gates lead to an interesting warehouse complex, which retains several functional buildings, which are unusual contributors to the building stock of this part of the city.

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
