Structure

A light roundwood and a piece of heavy brushwood (Wth 0.25m min.; D 0.09m), 0.17m apart. They are in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with frequent fibrous roots and occasional Eriophorum. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
