Structure

A half-split timber, a miscellaneous off-split and one piece of light brushwood (Wth 0.5m; D 0.18m) which are irregularly laid and closely spaced. The site lies in well-humified Sphagnum peat with fibrous roots. SMR OF010-253----, 1.7m to the NE, is at the same level. SMR OF010-251---- is 2.9m to the SW. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
