What is recorded here
This peatland structure was found as a result of a peatland survey of the proposed Lisheen III wind farm, including the construction of turbines as well as an access road and ancillary works for connection with the electricity grid (Moore et al. 2015). Identified in two opposing drain faces 0.7m below the surface of the milled peat field. The monument (min. L 1m; Wth 1.25m; D 0.15m) consists of four pieces of heavy brushwood (diam. 0.04-0.06m), three orientated E-W and the other N-S (Moore et al. 2015, 37).
